FAQs

Kids?

We won’t turn them away, but they won’t have much fun and there are going to be monsters under their chairs.

How do I get to the venue?

Don’t worry about it. We’re going to shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn in Miraflores to the wedding venue and back.

How do I get around?

Uber works great, and driving in Lima can be tricky.

What do I wear?

Wedding day

For the big day, the dress code is fun & formal. We encourage everyone to wear bright and vibrant colors to match the joyful atmosphere.

Our wedding will take place at a beautiful hacienda with grassy areas. Ladies, consider wearing chunky heels for comfort throughout the day and a light jacket in case it gets chilly at night.

Friday night pizza party

Keep it dressy casual. It’s going to be a fun night of pizza and wine. Kat will be wearing a charming little white dress, and Nik will be in some crispy sneakers, pants, and a button down shirt.

Everyday attire

During the day, expect temperatures ranging from 68-73°F, with nighttime lows around 61-64°F. We recommend packing jeans, a coat or light jacket, and comfortable shoes so you can explore the city by foot!

What’s the weather like?

It’s early winter. Typically ranges from 59°F to 68°F. It can be a bit temperamental with sunny days or overcast and a light drizzle!

What should we do in Lima?

We’ve put together a google maps list of all of our favorite spots, and included some that we still need to visit.

There is a lot to see and do in Lima, but the food is the soul of the City. It is home to 4 of the top 50 restaurants in the world, including being home to the #1 spot on the list.
